  • What is a Sly Hair System?
    It's essentially a custom-made prosthetic hairpiece that is either glued or taped to your head. The Hair System is then cut-in to your existing hair to create a seamless blend. Our signature systems are the made from the thinnest materials possible to ensure comfort and an ultra-realistic appearance.
  • I have an existing hair system - will you service and attach it for me?
    Unfortunately no, we do not service systems made by other manufacturers as we cannot gurantee their quality.
  • Do your hair systems require maintenance?
    Yes, all hair systems require maintenance. We offer full service in our office in NYC or clients can opt to service their systems on their own.
  • How often should I clean my hair system?
    We reccomend a bi-weekly cleaning of your system and your scalp but this really depends on personal preference, many clients wear longer.
  • Can I shower with my system?  Can I swim with my system?
    Yes, but certian protocool should be adhered to to insure max bond life.
  • How long do hair systems last?
    Anwhere between 1 and 2 months, depending on what system you order and how well you maintain it. As a rule, the thinner/more realistic a system is, the shorter the lifespan. We design systems for clients based on their needs.
  • What happens during a consultation?
    No persons hair-loss situation is the same so that's why we schedule consultations with all of our prosepective clients. You will have a brief preliminary call with our hair specialist first to determine if you are a good fit for Sly Hair. The in-person consultation is an opportunity for you to chat with a trained professional to discuss your hair goals and the best way for us to achieve your desired look.     Yes, our hair systems are made with the finest quality, 100% Human Hair.
